Caudalie Radiance Tinted Moisturiser

I recently made an order on Feel Unique for a friends birthday, and when you spend over a certain amount you receive 2 free samples. As everyone knows I am sample obsessed so chose the Caudalie Radiance Tinted Moisturiser and a John Frieda hair serum to try. I qualified for free standard delivery and the package arrived 3 or so days after ordering which I was pretty impressed with - I'll definitely be ordering from Feel Unique again.
I received 2 sachets, one in 01 light (which I gave to my sister) and one in 02 medium which I'm wearing for this post. I managed to get 3 uses out of the small sample which is reasonably good, I'd prefer to try a product for longer to decide if it's worth the buy. The tinted moisturiser retails at £27 for 40ml which is good in comparison to my holy grail double wear which is £30 for 30ml. The consistency is very silky and glides on to my skin really well. It also has a strong fresh scent of lemon - which I don't mind but could be quite off putting to others.
I am very lucky in the fact I have naturally quite clear skin so it's just bloody typical I get a spot right in the middle of my cheek the day I'm photographing for this post. Apart from black heads and pigmentation my skin is very normal and doesn't require a lot of makeup. However, that does not stop from me from liking a full coverage which is why I've always been hesitant in using tinted moisturisers and BB creams. Believe me I've tried my fair share including Soap & Glory and Kiko but always find myself going back to a full coverage foundation. I've never tried anything from Caudalie but according to their website they only use natural and environmentally friendly active ingredients and do not test on animals which is a big positive.
After applying my it's potent! eye cream and triple performing facial emulsion (both from Benefit) I applied the tinted moisturiser all over my face and down my neck using my fingers. It generally gives a good coverage for a moisturiser and evened out my skin tone. Although, it doesn't really cover any blemishes so if you suffer with spot prone skin I wouldn't recommend this to cover it alone.
I finished off my makeup by setting it all with studio fix powder - MAC, bronzing with Hoolah - Benefit, highlighting with Soft & Gentle - MAC and filling my lips with lasting sensation lip liner - MAC. All in all my first impression of the Caudalie tinted moisturiser is good, I've enjoyed using it as a 'less makeup' makeup look. I'm still undecided if I'm wanting to purchase the full size, but it's definitely my favourite of all tinted moisturisers and BB creams I've tried. Hope you found this post useful!
